Another important event organized by our faculty within the scope of the “Faculty Conferences” has been successfully completed. The event, jointly organized with the Department of Psychology, brought together our academic staff and students with Prof. Dr. Aşkın Keser, a faculty member at Bursa Uludağ University, who delivered a conference titled “Preparing for a Career in the New Era: Psychological Resilience and the Future.”
The conference took place on April 30 at 14:00 in the Prof. Dr. Fazıl Tekin Conference Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. During the event, the importance of career planning in today’s conditions and the impact of psychological resilience on individual and professional success were discussed. Prof. Dr. Aşkın Keser shared his experiences regarding the challenges, especially those faced by young people, during their career journeys. Our guest elaborated in detail on the transformations in the understanding of careers driven by Generation Z and digitalization, as well as predictions about the future of the business world, supported by comprehensive examples and some statistical data.
With strong participation from various departments of our faculty, the event also included practical advice for students. Keser emphasized that those who can adapt to the changing world and technology are more likely to achieve success. The conference concluded with a Q&A session, where the speaker responded to questions from the audience. Participants expressed their satisfaction, noting that the event was beneficial both academically and personally. The conference ended with our Dean, Prof. Dr. Oktay Berber, presenting a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Aşkın Keser.
